Assoc. Prof. Sema Dumanli has received the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society 2022 Donald G. Dudley Jr. Undergraduate Teaching Award "For excellence in promoting research in antennas and propagation among undergraduate students”.

Dr Dumanli has received the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society 2022 Donald G. Dudley Jr. Undergraduate Teaching Award "For excellence in promoting research in antennas and propagation among undergraduate students and great contributions to the guidance of early career researchers” 

Donald G. Dudley Jr. Undergraduate Teaching Award is one of the six IEEE AP-S field awards given every year.  The award is presented annually at the Society’s awards banquet at the IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation. It recognizes outstanding and original contributions to undergraduate education by an individual at the early stage of his/her career as an educator in the general field of electromagnetics including theory, analytical solutions, numerical methods, antennas, propagation, phenomena visualization, and measurements. The award is aimed to recognize an individual who exemplifies the special human qualities of Donald G. Dudley, Jr., whose exemplary career in teaching and research represents the highest qualities of service.
