1.Digital Design Engineer This is an engineering position which involves the design of digital circuits and systems. The engineer will work and take responsibilities in the specification/requirements analysis, architectural design, implementation, integration, verification and quality assurance phases of design life cycle of the product.
2.Optical and Laser Technology Engineer This engineering position is involved with the optical and laser technology. He will be involved with the design, implementation and system integration of optical and laser systems mostly in the telecommunications field. He will align laser and optical systems, work with electronics, analyze experimental data and work with analog and digital electronic systems. Both theory and experimental experience is essential. Knowledge in topics like electronic drafting, optoelectronics, geometric optics, photonics safety and semiconductors is required.
3.Systems Design Engineer This position is an entry level engineering position for the development of an electronic product within product life cycle. It covers the design phase, prototyping of the product, verification and test phases for the software and hardware components of the product. The engineer works within the engineering design group and reports to Project Manager of Product Life Cycle.
4.Electronic Design Engineer This position is involved with design of one or more of the following: Microwave chips/circuits/components; Microwave modules containing microwave chips and components; Digital circuits; Low-frequency analog circuits operating in IF and lower frequencies; Mechanical assemblies; Test fixture; Hardware necessary to complete design, assembly and testing of products. Using knowledge of circuit design techniques and design software, the engineer will perform circuit simulation, analysis, verification, circuit layouts, package design, and documentation in the form of circuit schematics, detailed performance data, mechanical drawings, layout drawing, and other appropriate forms.
5.Digital Software Design Engineer Responsible for the hardware design, development, integration and verification of microprocessor based digital control with complex radio frequency products. Involved with digital design and implementation utilizing FGPA s along with a variety of digital I/O and analog devices. The position also requires knowledge of A/D s, D/A s, power supplies and signal conditioning circuits in analog hardware.
6.Research and Development Director in Electronics This managerial position is involved with managing a team of researchers in a specific area of Electronics Engineering. Requires overseeing project plans, testing and verification processes and integration processes. The position also requires good interpersonal skills and project management capabilities.
7.Digital IC Designer This engineering position takes part in the different phases of Digital IC design flow: System level design, RTL(Register Transfer Level) design and Physical design. In system level design phase, design is functionally verified by means of high level programming languages like C/C++, MATLAB, Simulink etc.. During the RTL design phase, exact behaviour of the digital circuit corresponding to system level specified design is described. Logical simulations are done to verify the functionality. In the Physical design phase, RTL design is mapped to a library of available logic gates and a chip design is created.
8.Electronic and Optical Component Testing Engineer This position involves working with bench-level testing and qualification of electronic and optical components and subsystems, including FPGAs, microcontrollers, high-speed microwave/RF electronics, high-speed microwave/RF test gear, tunable laser assemblies, bare optical fibers, electronic polarization controllers, optoelectronic devices (such as photoreceivers, LEDs, solar cells, etc.).
9.Semiconductor Process Engineer This position involves development and manufacturing of integrated circuits. A good understanding of semiconductor materials and electronic device physics, such as operating principles of p-n junctions and thin film transistors is required. Familiarity with characterization and metrology tools for semiconductor fabrication such as Scanning Electron Microscopy, Transmission Electron Microscopy and X-Ray diffraction is important. Work involves hands on processing of thin film devices using thin film growth techniques such as physical vapor deposition (evaporation and sputtering) and chemical vapor deposition. Laboratory experience with thin film growth and etching techniques is highly preferred.
10.Photovoltaic Device Engineer This position requires for a device engineer to have a solid understanding of solar cell/diode physics. The standard solar cell measurements (Current-Voltage, Capacitance-Voltage as a function of frequency, Spectral Response, Photocapacitance, etc) need to be measured in order to fully characterize them and understand the limitations on the device parameters (voltage, current and fill factor). Device parameters must be correlated with the process conditions used to fabricate the solar cells with the overall goal of optimizing cell performance. Knowledge of solid state and device physics is a must.
11.Electronics Engineer for Thermal Imaging This position will engage you in the design, manufacture and sale of hardware and software for the infrared industry. You are expected to work in the R&D hardware department, involving a variety of infra-red thermal imaging projects. Some of the tasks can be listed as feasibility studies for new products, circuit design, PCB layout, system integration type projects, maintenance of existing product designs, EMC and Low Voltage product approvals. 12.Circuit and Device Development Engineer This position involves discussing proposals with clients; designing new systems, circuits and devices or develop existing technology; testing theoretical designs; writing specifications. Your development processes must systematically improve the detailed design of pieces of electronic equipment, ensuring its interoperability, reliability, safety, and finally the user-friendliness of its interfaces. 13.Analog Circuit Designer This engineer must be capable of designing analog signal processing circuits in the DC to 10 MHz range. She/he must possess working knowledge in signal processing, circuit analysis and synthesis, linear and nonlinear circuit analysis. The candidate must be able to use active and passive analog components, must run simulation programs for analog design such as Spice, and must write codes for embedded control software. Operating knowledge of PCB design, of running Matlab codes, of heat control and reliability measures is desired.
14.Power Management IC Designer This engineer must be involved in design of high-performance analog and mixed-signal power management ICs. Design activities include definition, design, simulation, layout verification and characterization. Types of circuits involved are linear regulators, switching regulators, battery chargers, charge-pump regulators and serial interfaces. Typical applications are cell phones, digital cameras, mobile Internet devices, laptops etc.
15.Research Lab Design Engineer Within engineering Laboratories working on a wide variety of projects such as, acoustic and optical telemetry, ocean observatories and undersea vehicles among others, the Electrical Engineer will provide design input and engineering analysis for assigned tasks. He/she will apply engineering theory to create and analyze schematics and layouts of electrical designs using computer aided design (CAD), schematic capture and layout, develop hardware and software prototypes, test, troubleshoot and document results. Experience in the areas of digital signals processing, FPGA design and software development is required.
Signal Processing
1.Signal Analysis and Design Engineer Responsible for design, layout and evaluation of digital and mixed signal control/interface Integrated Circuits and of baseband/IF signal processing circuits using Silicon Bipolar and CMOS technology. Experience with foundry process selection and device modeling issues a plus. Responsible for Silicon-Bipolar/CMOS Analog/RF integrated circuit development. Experience with high speed RF/ analog /mixed signal circuits and/or Sigma-Delta, fractional and synthesizer design required.
2.Digital Imaging Engineer This is an engineering position involved with the development of focal plane arrays (FPAs) and imaging systems for ultra-high performance requirements such as astronomy, space, and defense based applications. The engineer will develop appropriate test capabilities, characterize and test the imaging products, and undertake failure analysis.
3. 3D Imaging and Signal Analysis Engineer This engineering position requires knowledge on computer vision, pattern recognition, probabilistic reasoning, and learning and recognition applications. Potential projects include leading-edge programs in neuroscience, as well as developing new applications in computational neuroscience, brain-computer interfaces and robotic vehicles.
4. 3D Image & Video Processing for Security You will assist in the development and implementation of software algorithms to automatically detect suspicious behavior in video surveillance, inspect 3D imagery for contraband, explosives, or unauthorized materials, and contribute to the invention and development of robust, real-time multi-sensor security systems. You will work with many types of video cameras as well as other imaging modalities, such as CT and novel X-Ray configurations, to create system solutions, that is, software algorithms that leverage imaging physics. The candidate must be knowledgable in statistical image features, in machine learning and classification technologies, as well in the imaging physics for detection algorithms. The software you develop must working in real time and it must be a robust software code to create automated image analysis and video surveillance systems.
5.Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and Machine Translation (MT) This position focusses on extracting information from document images, video, speech, and text. Your responsibilities will include algorithm development, software development, system integration, customization, experimentation, and analysis of results for Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and machine translation (MT). You are expected to work in a small team and to advance techniques for recognizing and translating text in scanned document images.
6.Biomedical / Biometric Image Analyst This position involves 2D/3D biomedical / biometric image processing applications. Your research team is expected to pioneer, develop, and optimize commercial algorithms for detecting, analyzing and grading skin features and conditions using multi-spectral imaging technologies. The position requires a strong understanding of advanced medical image analysis techniques and a basic understanding of optics, lighting, and digital image acquisition. Knowledge of multi-spectral imaging, image analysis, color analysis, statistical texture analysis, 2D linear filter design, pattern classification, or 3D image analysis is also desired. You should be capable of going from algorithm development to prototyping and to commercial deployment.
7.Radar Signal Processing This position involves experience and knowledge in the design of radar systems. The engineer must be familiar with hardware, software and mechanical properties of radar systems, their subsystems and instrumentation, and must be aware of military, civilian and industrial standards. Knowledge about system integration, testing and verification of radar systems is desirable.
8.Digital Image & Video Processing Engineer This engineering position involves designing digital image and video processing applications in any resolution and any format. Matlab, C and C++ programming languages are used in the design process. Matlab is used at the very beginning of the design because of its flexibility and large number of video processing toolboxes. In later steps, C or C++ replaces Matlab because of their speed. Some applications are designed to run on computer and some are designed to run on hardware (for example FPGA or a microprocessor). Also, some applications are designed to run on real-time. As the last step, design is delivered to hardware design team.
9.Multimedia Applications Developer This position involves deep knowledge of information theory on encoding and decoding audio/video streams, media storage formats, streaming protocols. The applicant is also expected to know and implement signal processing & transcoding techniques for analyzing the received media stream. Knowledge on pattern recognition techniques is also required.
10.Medical Image Analysis Every day thousands of imagery data are collected in each clinical center by MR, CT, PET devices. The automated analysis of such image data is essential to improve the clinical workflow, to reduce repeat of scans and wait time for the patients, and to aid the experts in the diagnosis. Image analysis involves the steps of acquisition, advanced signal processing and image reconstruction, enhancing the quality of the data by low-level image filtering methods, spatial registration in the case of multiple types of data (e.g., CT and MR), computer-aided systems to assist the experts in diagnosis by extracting and analyzing disease-informative image-based features.
11. Search and retrieval in image & video databases Finding similar cases from the collected data involves searching and retrieving images on the basis of information similarity. Among various applications of this type of technology one can quote the determination of the originality of an artwork, shopping which can be made more pleasant by finding similarly designed items, in medical images to find the diagnoses made on the similar past cases.
12.Camera-based scene analysis Cameras are ubiquitous in today’s world, which provides tremendous opportunities for image and video analysis. Video-based monitoring is necessary in many of today’s surveillance systems to ensure safety. At home, cameras can track the toddler and elderly to trigger an alarm if some undesired event, such as falling, occurs. Similarly, the same type of information can be used to adjust the environment to be more responsive to presence, such as by changing the light direction, intensity, color and temperature. Visual information can also be helpful to study behaviors of crowds, such as shoppers. Additionally, applications for handheld devices, such as smart phones, provide new insights and usage cases of image-derived information.

Control Engineering and Robotics
1.Robotics Engineer This engineering position is involved with the design, production and maintenance of mechanical robots for manufacturing, mining, agriculture and other industries. This Engineer will use creativity, skill and research to implement the use of robots in many industries. 2.Mechatronics Engineer Mechatronics engineering is a hybrid discipline, falling between the traditional electrical and mechanical engineering fields. This engineering position will include product design and drafting, troubleshooting and production-line maintenance, process monitoring and automation, quality control and education.
3.Control and Instrumentation Engineer A control and instrumentation engineer (CI engineer) is essentially responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and/or maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes. The main objective of the work of CI engineers is to ensure that these systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely. CI engineers need a thorough understanding of the operational processes of an organization and have a truly multidisciplinary role, working closely with colleagues across a number of functions, including operations, purchasing and design. Control and instrumentation engineers (CI engineers) must possess skills in specific control disciplines such as advanced process control (APC), distributed control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).
4.Electronics & Controls Engineer A Senior Electronics & Controls Engineer will work with state-of-the-art tools to develop electronics and control systems for advanced vehicle powertrains. Responsibilities will also include performing a lead role within the group by managing projects, mentoring engineers and providing technical direction to the entire project team. Position responsibilities include responsibilities for a wide variety of powertrain related projects, including hybrid electric and all electric vehicles. 5.Motion Controls Engineer This position will be responsible for overseeing and leading small technical groups in the architecture, organization, coordination, and version control of Motion Control Systems. The engineer must be qualified in modern control theory, knowledgeable in embedded controllers/ processors and in “real-time” machine control & multi-axis motion control. Proficiency in C language programming, weighted statistical approaches, Kalman filters, hydraulic actuators and servo motors is desirable.
6.Calibration and Controls Engineer This position involves transmission performance evaluation and calibration with vehicle, dynamometer and simulation tools, verification and modification of production control logic, new transmission control algorithm development with Matlab-Simulink and design tools, data acquisition and analysis
7.Embedded Controls Engineer In this position the engineer must develop real time embedded control solutions for all industrial/military oriented control applications including automotive application. He/she will be responsible for developing model based controls through simulation and implement the design using auto-code generation. Verify and validate your design through bench tests, hardware in-the-loop control tests, test cells or vehicle testing. Ability to design and model control systems with Matlab, Simulink, or Stateflow, experience with low level device drivers, software debugging, bench testing, use of emulators and logic analyzers, experience in control analysis and real time embedded control systems, and knowledge of embedded hardware design are all pluses.
8.Automotive/Braking/Sensor Fusion Controls Engineer This position involves advanced algorithms for sensor fusion and collision mitigation of an automatic emergency braking system from concept phase to production. The engineer must create algorithms for sensor fusion and emergency braking decision making, evaluate existing algorithms as well create software requirements that includes design description, system test plan. Experience with sensor fusion concepts, filter design / programming, radar sensors and machine vision systems is desirable.
9.Controls Engineer Controls engineering is the engineering discipline that applies control theory to design systems with predictable behaviors. A control engineer is responsible essentially for designing, developing, installing, managing and/or maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes. These activities require a good basic knowledge in the mechanical, electrical and computer programming areas. Since many of the new plants and manufacturing industries use computer programmed and monitored controls it is now important for a controls engineer to have basic computer knowledge. Those controls engineers that work on the actual programming of the system will require advanced experience working with the various computer control systems. The controls engineer also test controls, verifies their accuracy and effectiveness and performs routine maintenance on the controls in the system.
10.Robot Design Engineer Robotics engineers are responsible for designing, simulating, testing and manufacturing different kinds of robots for various tasks and environments. They usually work in a team. Most of them are involved in applying a robotic system to a particular use on a manufacturing assembly line. The design and manufacture of the "tooling" necessary to accomplish a task is also their responsibility. They use computer-aided design and drafting, and computer-aided manufacturing (CADD/CAM) systems to perform their tasks. They also create an integrated environment between people and machinery. In recent years, the design of autonomous vehicles for various applications (including military and space) has become an important activity for robotics engineers.
Communications
1.Radio Frequency Design Engineer: This engineering position is involved with RF circuit design, circuit design at the transistor level, and CAD as well as performing detailed circuit design of RF amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers, switches, attenuators, VCOs and RFICs in CMOS, MESFET, HBT, Bipolar or PHEMT technologies, RF filters, synthesizers.
2.Telecommunications Networks Engineer This engineering position is involved with the planning and the design of the telecommunications infrastructure based on the subscriber and traffic requirements. The network traffic analysis may be for the fixed line, GSM, or the IP networks. Analog and digital communications fundamentals is necessary.
3.Microwave Development Engineer This engineer will do tests for performance of microwave circuits, conduct circuit design and component trade-off studies, perform research. The position also involves computer modeling, breadboard/prototype development and supporting the production process. The engineer should have knowledge of microwave circuit and design techniques, experience with stripline, microstrip, coaxial, and waveguide transmission concepts and design techniques, including statistical analysis.
4.Antenna Design Engineer This engineering position is involved with the antenna and radome design and production. Tasks include the design, fabrication oversight, testing oversight, troubleshooting, and optimization of state-of-the-art single element antennas and multi-aperture, multi-band, and multi-mode arrays and radomes.
5.RF Integrations Manager This engineering position is responsible for the design, validation and performance of on board wireless devices. The antenna design will involve RF integration, wireless platform development, antenna and grounding design rules, implementation of the schematic design and layout for RF sections, performing full RF validation and optimization, compliance and regulatory testing, and RF manufacturing tests.
6.Field Support Engineer This is an entry level engineering position which involves the maintenance and troubleshooting of the deployed products (hardware and software) in the field. The position requires knowledge and skills to simulate the problem in the laboratory environment, to diagnose the cause of the problem, and to deliver a solution, if possible. Field support engineers work within different industries ranging from automation technologies to telecommunications systems.
7.Information Technology Support Engineer: This engineering position works within the sales group or operations department of an organization. The engineer’s task is to support the sales team in the technical analysis of the requirements of the project, to identify the technology and the solution (hardware or software) to best fit the needs of the customer, and to prepare a final technical proposal for the sales team. Sales support engineers work in a variety of electronics engineering fields changing from Information Technology to automation/mechatronics.
8.Transmission System Design Engineer: This position requires at least a few years of experience and a Master’s degree. It involves conceptual level design of a transmission system (e.g. satellite or terrestrial wireless) starting from the antennas and RF front-end. Also, in-depth understanding of modulation and detection, access techniques, data formatting, source coding, channel coding, and associated decoding techniques are essential for performance evaluation and cost-complexity tradeoffs. Familiarity with the current DSP technology may also be necessary.
9.Transmission Design Engineer Develop optimum engineering details for the junction and long distance transmission system infrastructure on a site-by-site/link-by-link basis based on the statement of work, contractual specifications, customer requirements and using available products and technologies in the project. Request and manage the conduct of detailed surveys in both junction as well as the long distance network for optical fiber options. Use the survey results to develop junction transmission rings on a site by site basis and gain customer approval. Manage the assignment of approved junction transmission capacity on a continuous basis to meet project requirements. Using the same approach as customer plans, develop equipment details for all project junction. Study the requirements of customer on any changes to the long distance service system (such as introduction of new access points).
10.System Design Engineer Understanding customer requirements for the network. Planning and designing the system. Preparing Engineering specification, schedules, test procedures and other engineering documents/drawings required for the implementation and testing of system in the telecommunication network.
11.Smart Card Applications Developer This position involves a deep understanding of smart card technology, related industry standards, security procedures involved during communication with server side and developing JAVA applications on top of embedded JVMs.
12.Telecommunications Product Manager The engineer in the telecommunications services sector must maintain the competitiveness of the product group; must co-ordinate the communication between manufacturing plants both local and abroad, headquarters, product division, brands, after-sales-service, sales and sales planning. He/she is responsible for market and competitor analysis. Must define model, strategy and price level in close connection with the sales organisations and the factories.
13. Broadcast Engineer: A broadcast engineer operates, maintains, updates and repairs hardware and systems used across television, radio, podcasts, and other channels, ensuring that programs are broadcast on time to the highest possible level of quality. Broadcast engineers work in a team with others including producers, studio managers, and presenters as well as other technical staff. As well as being spread across ever-expanding methods of distribution, the work of broadcast engineers takes place in a range of locations and work situations.
Instrumentation and Industrial Design
1.Test and Process Design Engineer This engineering position is involved with the testing and implementation of an electronic product within the product life cycle. The engineer will develop the procedures for the testing of the software and hardware components of the product. It also covers the product specific automation systems and the manufacturing phases of the product.
2.Instrumentation Technology Engineer Instrumentation technology is a branch of electrical and mechanical engineering. It refers to the vast array of sensors and control systems used throughout industry to regulate equipment and keep production processes running at maximum efficiency. Instrumentation engineers work in the design, implementation, monitoring of these device and technologies. This requires knowledge on control theory, signal processing and data communications.
3.Electrical and Electronic Instrumentation Hardware Engineer This engineering position is involved with the design of embedded systems hardware and firmware. The engineer will write and execute test plans for hardware and systems to verify and validate design output. He will conduct various testing as required, maintain ISO procedures and work instructions. The position requires knowledge of engineering analysis and simulation software, experience with logic analyzers, LabView, and other test and measurement devices. Knowledge of USB standards, FPGA hardware and VHDL languages, LVDS hardware, C/C++ are other requirements.
4.Electro-optic Systems for Night Vision This position involves knowledge of lasers, photonics, laser resonators, solid-state laser drivers, laser transmitters and receivers, near infrared and far infrared imaging systems. 4.Software Quality Assurance Engineer This position is a hands-on test automation role in an engineering team. The position requires the development of a test automation framework for both back end system components and front end user interface using open source software tools and technologies. The engineer will create and maintain a full suite of data driven automation tests for regression, functional, performance, load and stress testing and collaborate with the software development team to improve the functional code coverage of our automation suite in every product release.

7. Embedded Firmware Engineer: Writing low-level software on embedded microcontrollers/microprocessors. The software may control peripheral devices, hardware blocks, achieve communication with other units.
8. Parallel Algorithm Design/SIMD Engineer: Development of parallel signal/image/video processing on SIMD or other parallel architectures.
9. Systems/Software Architect: Defines the product use cases, supported features, then he/she defines system components and how these should be interconnected. He/she models timing, interrupts, communication interface, memory requirements, target performance and identifies the engineering work to achieve these.

1.Project Manager R&D To ensure that the R&D project (or program) delivers a result according to an assignment to the satisfaction of concerned stakeholders. To do this an R&D Project Manager (or Program Manager) leads and defines the day-to-day work in the project and takes full responsibilities for the planning, execution and conclusion of the assignment. An R&D Project Manager (or Program Manager) would typically interact with resource owner (R&D Line managers), Product Management, sponsor, steering (reference) group, receiver (takes over the project or program outcome) and other project and/or program managers. The work is carried out to secure successful fulfillment of R&D assignments.
2.R & D Administrator The R&D Administrator assists Line Managers, Project Managers and other leading functions or roles in R&D with various project and/or line management knowledge areas such as finance reporting and follow up, project planning, quality reporting and follow up as well as other administrative tasks. Assistants are not included in this job. The work is carried out to secure successful fulfillment of R&D assignments.
3.Tactical Marketing Develop and promote business propositions based on the marketing strategy to address customer needs with a differentiated value offering. Manage and formulate marketing content and messages to create awareness.
4.Strategic Marketing Assess business objectives and develop the marketing strategy. Create marketing / MU plans and market segmentation model, define business positioning, messages and brand strategy. Investigate and feed back new market opportunities. Manage market development actions.
5.Strategic Planner The Strategic Planner creates and shares a global plan that enables the dimensioning of the supply chains so that Ericsson can fulfill the targets of lead-times, delivery precision, cost and capital targets. The job includes introduction and phase-out of new forecast and plan objects, translation of the market demand into plan object divided per supply chain, quality assurance, analysis, improvement s and communication around the plan and its methods and tools.
6.Solution Architect The Solution Architect interacts with the customer to define and provide technical, competence development solutions that enhances the customer’s competitive position. The Solution Architect plans, designs and deliver solutions that improve the customer network in terms of capacity, functionality, end-user-services, and competence built up etc. Normally a Solution Architect participates as a member of a Core 3 team and/or participates in the delivery project. The Solution Architect identifies add on sales opportunities via a close cooperation with the customer in the delivery project. A Solution Architect typically interacts with customer staff, 3rd Party suppliers, MU staff and other groups within Service Delivery organization.
7.Service Delivery Management The overall purpose of the job Service Delivery Management, is to secure an efficient global service organization. Develop, implement, maintain and follow up global delivery programs and strategies to achieve an efficient and effective delivery organization. To be the interface inside and towards MU and GSDC organizations within applicable subject area and give support and get cooperation and understanding and thereby secure that global initiatives becomes reality. Lead and manage delivery forum, councils and workshops when appropriate.
8.Production Engineer Develop and implement cost efficient, ergonomic and safe Production processes. Drive improvement activities in order to standardize and secure relevant documentation and SW applications to make predictable production processes. Analyze production, laboratory and design solutions and suggest possible improvements to product or production process. The results of the activities are products and production processes adapted for an efficient production.
9.Consultant A consultant creates value for customers and Ericsson by addressing business, operational, organizational, technology and competence issues related to revenue generation, cost reduction and/or risk reduction. He/she does so by a) situational and issue analysis; b) proposing possible solutions and/or c) participating in implementation of proposed solutions. Depending on the situation a consultant can take the role of expert, facilitator, consulting project manager or mentor. Prerequisite for success is a trust based relation with customer.
10.Production Product Management (PPM) Managing products from a supply perspective. PPM is the main interface against R&D regarding products in maintenance phase. PPM represents and supports the supply organization in product introduction and phase out activities. The PPM also keeps all supply related product information up to date. This is done to secure an efficient order fulfillment during the products whole life cycle and to secure an efficient supply chain. PPM also maintain the communication between the Master Sites and EMS sites.
11.R & D Configuration Manager The R&D Configuration Manager establishes, control and maintain the integrity of a product configuration. CM is applied during a development project and throughout a product’s life cycle. Activities: writes CM plan for the project and implements it. Communicate current status of product configuration, i.e. baselines and CR’s. Leads CM system audits.
12.Production Operator To assemble, repair and test boards, modules, nodes, cables or other products according to production specifications. The overall goal is to deliver according to customer specifications. Operates and monitors production equipment and plays an active role in ensuring product quality and performance targets.
13.Systems Developer To develop a system and/or network architecture and/or solution, covering hardware, and/or software that are flexible in order to grasp future technology and market opportunities. The system design shall be adapted to match the implementation environment and characteristics based on the following activities: System and/or network design and related activities such as CPI, interfaces, functionality and performance.
14.Hardware Developer To develop hardware that may include, module, product or node designs. Activities: Requirement analysis. Design and development of hardware as well as maintenance in products. Development of special tools used in development of products. May be involved in all aspects from detailed design to high level hardware system node design and in all development phases from system design.
15.Verification Engineer To ensure that networks, systems and/or solutions have functionality and performance according to given requirements. Activities: Analyse requirements, develop test strategies, analyse test results, design and executes tests, develop test environment, technical configuration management, configures tests, networks, systems and/or solutions. Verifies functions, corrections and/or performance, trouble shoots and perform customer support activities.
16.Test Engineer To ensure optimal implementation, support and maintenance of test solutions and test equipment. The activities span over planning, specifying, designing, developing, implementing, verifying and supporting test solutions and test equipment. The result is an implemented or supported test solution and test equipment that are in line with the overall Supply strategies to ensure production economy, stability and quality.
17.Services Engineer Services Engineer provides technical service and support to new and existing customer networks – Telecom and Datacom. Plan, design, troubleshoot and resolve problems in order to stabilize and optimize customer networks. Configure and integrate different nodes and solutions in new and live customer networks. All activities performed by a Service Engineer should (normally) be in accordance to customer contract. Services Engineer would typically interact with customer technical staff and operation managers, service engineers and other groups within Service Delivery organization. They may also interact with groups in sales, R&D, 3rd Party suppliers and local authorities.
18.Product Manager Driving and coordinating the Marketing Unit product strategy. Maintaining regular communication with the marketing team to ensure the activities are consistent with the overall marketing strategy. Managing delivery of legal and technical approvals, customization and samples. Training the team, customers, channel and required parties. Being responsible for competitive benchmark and SWOT, pricing, marketing plan and financials. Supporting the trade marketing team in identifying further opportunities
Energy: Conventional and Alternative
1.Renewable Energy Engineer This is an engineering position with solid understanding of solar cell/diode physics. The engineer will be working with the R&D team to carry out standard solar cell measurements (Current-Voltage, Capacitance-Voltage as a function of frequency, Spectral Response, Photo-capacitance, etc) on energy generating devices. The engineer will work with the device processing group to correlate device parameters with the process conditions used to fabricate the solar cells.
2.PhotoVoltaic Systems Engineer This position is involved with the development of Solar PV systems and will be responsible for solar system design and documentation. The engineer will conduct site surveys for PV system design, create AutoCAD drawings for proposed systems, specify materials, and work with project managers in coordinate scheduling and permitting for system installation. The PV Systems Engineer may assist in other project management duties as required. Responsibilities will include site surveys and recommend optimal solar system designs, preparing system proposals, quotations, and contracts and performing system commissioning and startup tests.
3.Electronics Engineer for control relays and transformers This engineering position involves supervising prototype design, production, and testing of control relays and transformers as well as preparing quotations and negotiating contracts. The position also requires maintaining close communication with customized product customers during the production phase.
4.Power Supply Design Engineer This position is involved with the design and development of electrical power supplies with high reliability, high efficiency, and good thermal design. Experience in discrete power supply design, knowledge and practical application of industry standard power supply requirements specifications is required. The position requires knowledge on circuit simulation using Spice (or equivalent) .
5.System Development Engineer (Vehicular Systems) System development engineer is responsible of designing and managing engineering projects. It is an interdisciplinary field which requires both technical and social skills such as control engineering and project management. The system development engineers have to be what is called a scientific generalist who maintains a broad outlook of similar systems. The systems have a number of objectives and the balance between them changes widely from system to system. As an example there is variety of Vehicular Systems with different control strategies, e.g. fuel saver, torque maximized, comfort oriented.
